Introduction
- The patented Goldtel's Field-Installable Optical Connectors (FIOCs) are cost-effective, and are designed for reuse, ease of installation, optical attenuation, and fiber Bragg Grating (FBG). The Goldtel's FIOCs require no field polishing or epoxy, so no beat cure devices or special tooling are needed to facilitate the termination of the fiber. It takes approximately one to two minutes per fiber to install a connector on the field.
